Any one using the Boss ES-5 or ES-8 with a 100 watt EVH 5150III head or similar. Just wondering if there is any way of getting the amp to switch the channels through the Boss ES-8 with out using a midi interface. It is a cool pedal switcher with a lot of usable features. I am thinking about getting rid of my midi effects and not using the effects loop of the amp. The loop is okay but I really like the true tone plugged straight into the amp.
