CAMERON CCV AND FRIEDMAN BE-100 VIDEO CLIP

I think the Friedman sounds muffled to some of you because it is right against a wall. I don't mean behind it, but next to it. Also, it is clear in my headphones that the camera mic position is making a big difference as it was not moved when switching amps.

All that being said, I prefer the Friedman. CCVs sound like solid state amps to me. Always have.
 
Good playing. What was your setup for the video? Guitar, pickups, iPhone video? Settings on the amps? Just curious.

I used my Suhr Modern loaded with MCP Black Irons plugged straight into the amp. Recorded with a Zoom Q3hd. Have messed with the setting on the amps since the video but on the friedman I run almost every between 11-1 o'clock the gain was set a 6 on a 0-10 scale with the sat switch on. The CCV I find the two gains best set around 1 o'clock both bright switch's to the right and same with the eq mostly everything between 11-1 o'clock. I run the presence on the Friedman around 11-12 o'clock at home but been using this amp when jamming with a band and notice in the band mix I raise the presence up to 1 o'clock.
