It's basically a 4 gain stage Aldrich gain channel, and a fenderish clean channel configuration borrowed from the Cameron Modern Twin amp i had.. It is an all tube pedal made for going direct with an IR box or into the fx return of an amp or power amp. This clip is going through a mooer radar cab loader and my studio monitors.
I think i may have made it a little to dark with the Low pass filter on the cab eq settings for this clip , but you get the idea! I can make more clips

I have a Molecular which I guess is a knock off from the Atomica. I really dig it. I just sold my Monomyth 2204 since it was the only thing I have that was an easy to move item to fund having to move suddenly and I would be depressed as fuck if I didnt have the molecular. Its not as tight as the Monomyth amps I had but it has some mojo. I havent played a bogner except for a Triple Giant which I think was just inspired by a bogner(or maybe designed?? I dunno it was a long time ago) so I cant compare the two. I cant recommend a Monomyth enough. Ive had Splawn, Friedman, Marshall, and Ceriatone as far a Marshall types go and the amps I got from him are my favorite.
You could also ask Dave Friedman to make you an amp and just tell him the sound you are going for. It might cost a bit but he will deliver. I think he did a one off for Reza for $3300 and I know a guy who ordered one for himself so its not a one off never to be done again item. I think he told Jerevil that he can mod his amps anyway you want and he seems like he is as knowledgeable on those mods as anyone.
I just think its insulting that we see new cameron amps being posted for high dollar amounts when there are guys who haven't been made whole. Apparently they have settled with some people but I have yet to hear anyone chime in saying that "yeah Mark got my amp or my money to me" so that claim is dubious to me.
I think there is something to be said that Mark modded the amp to the player. If you can find a decent tech that knows his shit maybe you can get them to mod something similar or you could start learning to DIY as the info is out there floating around. I have a couple builds in the works now that have been great learning experiences. I hope that I can just mod my own amps someday instead but I'm thankful to just be learning more about amps. A couple months ago I couldnt tell the difference between a cap or resistor and didnt know what the hell this "NFB" stuff was.

Had a CCV years ago. Meh. Didn't do much for me.
The best sounding amps for me to date, are the Fortin Cali set to 4 stages, without diodes... and the hybrid DIY I built that's kind of like a Fortin/Cameron/Jose mashup.

I've built/modded enough to know what changing most values does but you could really chase your tail unless you REALLY know. There's so many different ways to brighten/darken/add gain/subtract gain//adjust bass/etc. And I think it helps to be able to play like MC when assessing changes to the circuit, it prob allows any flaws to reveal themselves better. And of course a good ear. Most times when I see something 'new' to me in a guitar amp circuit I think it's pretty simple and why the fuck didn't I think of that.ClintN667":1q8iulam said:

I’m not offended at all, I just think your comment was off base, that’s all. I wasn’t asking you to post clips, I could care less. It’s not about dick swinging either, Mark can play in a style I like, if you don’t like it, that’s fine. Different strokes for different folks. I’m sure Mark has the ability to play other things besides what we’ve seen in a few clips. I have no dog in the hunt here about Mark’s past transgressions etc, but he can build a mean amp and play what I like to hear. What’s wrong with that ? I’m not really a fan of the weedly shred type stuff either, but that doesn’t take away from Cameron’s sounding great and still being able to tell that Mark is a very competent player
I don’t typically care for the super compressed and forgiving sounds either, but that really depends how you set the diode clipping on them. Without the diode clipping engaged, the ccv and modded Marshall’s I’ve had by him are more open, clear and not as forgiving, but yes once the diodes come in its another story, especially the more extreme diode mode on the ccv that I never really use

Oh and yeah those CCM clips sound great! Seems kinda like a more growly/furry ccv sound. I don’t even care how accurate they are to the real thing because they seem great on their own. You should make more of them

I own a One off Cameron amp which I believe is the CCM circuit also, it was done by Mark in 2010, it’s a 4 stage design with ccv power section qualities as well.
