It's always good to see ceriatone content. I just wish I wasn't such an effects loop snob

Yeah, the loop ain't the best. But all I use is delay. And the pedal is buffered. So no biggie. I'm gearing up for a Chupacabra build of my own and I'm trying to see what I can do about a better loop.

Besides that, if the effects loop isn't foot-switchable, I don't want it. I know I'm irrational...


I've been gasing for a c-wreck for a while, which I wouldn't use the loop anyways

No issue. It just isn't tube-buffered. It's a simple insert loop like you'd find in many other amps. At least it's after the tone stack (unlike that filthy, dirty, no-good SLO ha!).

For what it's worth, best loop I've ever encountered is on KSR amps. Switchable (true bypass), and both send and receive level control.

Oh, actually the loop on the Fortin Bones I had was nice too. Similar to the KSR. But you could witch it between series/parallel. I think the KSR loop is more transparent though.

Thanks guys. I made the mistake of selling this amp once before. A few years later I was able to get it back. And it's a keeper.

They're both great, man. And the best part is, if you ever want to try a Chupa out, you can convert one into the other fairly easily.
