M merlot New member May 7, 2012 #1 What gauge of wire should the power cord be on a Tourmaster 4212? The cord that came with mine (bought used) is 18 gauge, which seems awfully weak for a monster amp like this.

mboogman Active member May 8, 2012 #2 18 ga can typically handle a full 15 amp load, so I don't see any issue with using it for an amp that draws probably around 2.5 amps.
