i remember trying to figure out where it was with the street photos like that once. it was right there like you have it. i remember there was a restaurant around the corner called fatass's or something

that place doubles as a meth lab....

if thats what he has to do to get me an amp then so be it

Does Fox have a news segment where they send out a reporter to hassle screwups like this?

Denver used to, and maybe still does. Pretty wild sometimes.

In the Seattle area it's "Get Jessie" I'm sure most of the cities have some sort of person that does that. Good idea.

In the meantime, I checked the location. The addresses of both shops on each side leaves that address to be one of these two places

shop on left was 960. Shop on right was 904. 940 must be here:

no..it will be on the opposite side of the street odds and evens thing

A Belgian dealer has the same issues. Received a broken forza, ordered numerous amps, paid a fair amount in front, ... nothing.

I know about the odd/evens thing/ The building on the left that I cut out was on the store window as "960" The store on the right that I cut out had a name on their window. I googled their address to be "904". 940 would have to be on that side in the middle.

Doesn't look like the site of an amplification company to me.

You can tell that from an exterior building pic?

Regardless this isn't a fucking joke. A bunch of us are getting screwed waiting n waiting w broken promises from Dar amplification. Even if we get amps you lose hope n faith on this company for future support or purchases.

I don't mean any disrespect. Just trying to inject some levity into an otherwise solemn thread.

With sincerity, I wish you and all others in this situation nothing but the best and hope you all recover your $$$'s.

Future support is always a crap shoot even with the solvent smaller operations imo. They could just decide to get out of the business or retire on a whim and it's over.

Some of these operations seem to use deposits as their startup capital (or to augment it) and hope they will become solvent after the initial phase of getting off the ground which is very risky imo.

They are using you as an initial investment partner in a way.

We had signed on as DAR artists a while back. Late 2010 IIRC. We were going to use the FBMPX floorboards. They made an announcement on their page about us, etc....

Never saw them. :(

In the end, I'm ok with it, I guess. I love our present live rig.

"Some" seems like a huge understatement to me.

Well, I guess it all depends on how you define the term "some".....

See, now it looks reasonable.

I'm just wondering when someone is finally going to blow a gasket and someone gets hurt. This happens frequently enough that it would seem to just be a matter of time since there is generally little if any recourse available to the buyers ("investors") that prepaid or made deposits.
