The mod is called "Metalhead", done by Elan Memran... I may be wrong but he was a Jewish guy from LA area. Dino brought it to Elan asking "Make it sound like a first VanHalen record" and Elan did his best. There were around 4 JCM's tweaked this way, and with the badge of course!

Some of those 4 being 50W version and some being 100W, but i dont know the Exact numbers. Dino's own is a 100W. He was fortunate to get his old faithful 91' Horizon LA custom 6 string from Replica music video back a few years ago too.

Yeah, he got it back a few years ago. He had Fortin bring it back to life, and now tours with Kemper profiles of it.

Been a huge FF since I heard Demanufacture when it first came out.

i bought his demanufacture ormsby , it plays like butter,made in korea,wwmc? dont care i love it..is made to his specs. and fits me perfectly,also took a 2019 rgd ibby 7 string put in the retribution pick up took out the neck pickup filled with mahogany ..i love that bitch to.. i will snap pics and attempt to up load here,i fucking love dino...i remember reading in a rock mag. in the the 90s they asked him how he built is right hand speed,he said i jerked off alot as a kid..lol

The first time I saw Fear Factory he was using THAT ESP. Pre 7 string days.
They played the Birch Hill (RIP) in Oldbridge, NJ on the Demanufacture tour.

I’m curious how that profile is going to sound; I just saw them a few months back and the only gripe I had was Dino’s tone was practically a wall of white noise with very little ‘note’ behind it, sounded like they chopped everything off below 300hz, not a hint of low end. Sick fucking show regardless! New singer was killin’ it.

I think it is because him using Digital overall, i find digital sounding much better and deeper when you play with headphones on your ears, the small enclosure thats being made around the ear and in it with sound makes room and for me it sound's much fuller especially when you push the volume up.

It is pretty often a conspect of using modelers , thats why i blend 2 at once usually, even better if plugins are from diffrent manufacturers and they have diffrent IR's , they sound far more realistic - yet more you stack the more generic and characterless the distorted tone becomes for me.
