Distortion Pedal Recommendation

You have an RP1000 right? 4cm with it and set up a couple settings using the built in models. Should be very easy to set up those generic new rock tones.

So, the borrowed Triple Wreck turned out to be exactly what I was looking for...it turned everything that I tried it with (Marsha full clean channel, Matchless Chieftain, Mesa Studio 22 clean channel) into a huge sounding modern hard rock/metal machine. It's the perfect pedal for those tones and has more gain on tap than anybody should ever need for anything. It's also very versatile due its extensive shaping controls...you can dial up more classic tones pretty easily if you want them.

That said, the whole modern rock thing simply isn't what I like...this project never got beyond the first rehearsal.
