I am late to the party, sorry to bump this thread up but is it me or it sounds bad? My MXR 5150 overdrive pedal gives me a better distortion as what we could hear in the video on page 1.
 
My UA lion produces heat if left plugged up . Just a heads up to people who use these pedals.
I don't like leaving my house with shit like that. Its not off until the power is cut off.

Who knows could burn the house down, just saying.

But when I got my 5150ii from Japan, the original owner packed it in a single layer of bubble wrap under a form-fitting box (because he thought it was just going to some warehouse in Japan lol he didn't know it was going to an overseas shipping service)... it sat at that warehouse for more than a month, and at some point while shipping overseas, it was loaded upside down, was accidentally dropped at least twice (once by the courier, once by me)...

I literally just unpacked it, plugged it in and turned it up and it worked perfectly like it had always been here. Can't complain

I love the. 5150ii . I toured all over American Midwest and Canada while it took a beating . Never even changed a tube . It was consistent too . Same tone always . Did this for 6 years . No matinence at all . Only thing that happen is red LED died lol
