I guess the SLO is probably closer to it than the 101b... But to be honest, I would say both amps are pretty far from the tone on the Whitesnake DVD...

Or boost the Blue channel of the 101b. Still any good OD into a decent Marshall will be your best bet.

To be clear, I'm talking mainly about Doug's solo tone during his unaccompanied solo.
I know he uses a cameron modded amp or something similar -- I was just curious as to which of my amps would get closer. I'm thinking the SLO is probably the answer. I also have a couple vintage marshalls, but they'd obviously need a healthy boost.
