It's amazing how great he always sounds using an extremely minimal approach... two tracks, a single SM57 and Vintage 30 with typical placement, almost no post-processing except occasional EQ (I've never seen him use a saturator or anything like that). Just getting the amp sounding good, playing tight, and proper mic placement... magic.

Honestly, a huge part of Ola's great amp demos (besides his chops) are his drums and overall mix. When the guitar track is isolated it just sounds like a good, properly miked guitar track. No magic. He knows how to write great tunes, has the chops and can mix. I'm a fan.
