I'm not really into shreddin' lately because I think it gets old fast, so I'm kinda' out of my wheel house on this one.

Mark V on Mark IV.

Digging the harmonies.

There's no doubt that I take heavy influence from Marty, but I tend to take more from his Introduction/Scenes era than anything else. I actually used the Miyako-Bushi scale for a little because it happens to transform into Phrygian Dominant very easily. Probably helps that my favorite solo of all time is from Tornado of Souls, which happens to utilize that very same scale pattern. :D

Fuck yeah - You guyz are killin it !!

I was gonna do a solo over it as well and post it but now I'm re-thinking...
(skulks away with guitar in hands)

For anyone that tried to use the FileBox link to send me you track - and it didnt work.
Apparently File Factory id down (again) - Should be back by the morning.

Thanks guyz - Loving these so far !!

Nice playing for me to wake up to Code001! I've been meaning to get back in some forum jams (its been probably 3 years since my last). Really inspired playing man!

Rezmatix, really dug the middle melodic section a lot as well as the 2 or 3 Satch like trem up pulls.

Midnightlaundry, dug the fact that the rhythm is really up tempo however, you played mostly slow and melodic stuff that just fit. Sounded like you subliminally lower the backing track's tempo ;)

man

all three have been really great.

splice and dice and you would have a perfect solo

my favorite so far is codes

great direction flow and composition
