Everybody laid some great solos on this backing track, and all were a joy to listen to. Great legato work, great alternate picking, great tapping, and some stellar whammy work across the board.
I worked on this one for a little while, with my main goal being to come up with something that fit in while utilizing a different sound and approach from everyone so far, and ultimately, everything I tried had already been done (and quite well) by one or more RT'ers, so alas I'm going to sit this one out. I don't feel like I could contribute anything here, but it was great listening.
Maybe next time.

Some very cool stuff in this thread so far!
I was thinking about recording something over this, but got to the end and heard 70stratheads take. Freaking KILLER Ant! It sounds like Steeler era Yngwie to me (without being a rip off or clone) when he was young and hungry and just has that same pissed off, fire, monster vibrato thing and huge bends. Less classical and more heavy rock sounding. I've listened to it twice already and will listen again.
So, yeah, I can't really see myself topping Ant's vibe and take here. No disrespect to anyone else on here because I heard some great stuff in everyones takes.
What did you use to record this Ant? Killer tone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
