It's true, if you want top forum cred/status you can't just flip gear occasionally and then stop for awhile. You have to stay in the gear-go-round full on to maintain your cred.

If you can't laugh at the insanity of the gear whore mentality, what are you going to do? So you post a thread like this and in the past, I post a thread with Akira using "crappy" gear, or Norum using crappy gear or Sykes, Rhoads, Norum and Wylde using crappy Norlin era Gibsons, or Malmsteen, Hendrix, Roth, Blackmore etc using crappy CBS era Fenders following threads from someone that one of those items just isn't good enough for them.

Hey guys I'm selling 3 Les Pauls, I need cash ASAP because my dog needs an operation. But I'll listen to trades.

But first up is a 1990 Classic. As we all know 1990 is THE Golden year for LP's, they really had special mojo and I think Gibson had the best craftsmen at this time. There's no weight relief bullshit or chambering crap with this, and it doesn't need any of that modern science plex nonsense either.

2nd up is a 1991 LP Custom. As we all know Gibson stepped it up in 1991 and even Zakk Wylde said the 91 Customs were special. Same as above no pussy weight relief or pluck bullshit going on.

And of course both of the guitars were made in Kalamazzo, where all the old mojo, tools, and old time craftsmen were at.


Next up is a 2009 Cloud 9. Gibson really straightened out it's company after it's dismal years of the early 90's were they hit an all time low. Not only does this guitar have the frets plexed which improves it's playability, it's also chambered which is a big improvment over older models because not only do you get lower weight, but the guitar is louder acoustically. Even Zakk Wylde says the new Gibsons are better than his older one's, and he knows what he's talking about right.

Also, this guitar is made in good old Tenessee, where as we all know Gibson improved it's working conditions after leaving the old junky factory behind.
