I think its just because most of you are trying to sell old man gear nobody wants for too much money. I've had zero issues selling anything. Usually all sells in a month or two tops.

Even my weird Teuffel just sold after 2-3 weeks...
What a condescending, dumbass comment... Thank the Lord that you know the correct "young man gear" to buy so you can sell it three days after you bought it.

Is a 20 year old Ibanez UV PWH "young man gear" or "old man gear"? Hmmm...

Oh BTW, that Teuffel was a hideous looking, expensive turd.

There... now how do you feel? ;)

That was pretty fucking funny.

I have an Old Man over Drive TIMMY pedal. You have to be 40 years old or older to purchase.
ID required.

Aren't you trying to sell a Schecter KM6 for about $80 less than new? Yeah, good luck with that.

It's hard to beat an old marshall or an old fender.......Old man gear I suppose. No one today uses an old marshall or a fender product :D

UVs are definitely old man gear, which is probably why mine has been sitting there for a bit. That being said, I'm not the one sitting around complaining its not selling. All I'm saying is don't buy gear nobody wants then be surprised when its hard to sell. I'm not being condescending either, just straightforward.

What would I know though, its not like I run a forum for buying/selling gear with 18k users.

What do you mean trying? I sold both :D

I think you guys are getting a little butthurt though. All I'm saying is that its much easier to sell something trendy than stuff nobody is really buying.

But hey, I'm not the one complaining about how hard it is to sell gear :D

Says the guy trying to sell an ESP Kiko for $7500.

Also, it's not hard to sell gear at all. Just because somebody puts $150 in upgrades on a plywood bass, doesn't mean the rest of us are dumb enough to pay for said mistake.

Aye... tis a buyer's market for sure.

I just picked this 2012 Splawn Quickrod and 4X12 cab up for $800 from a music store 120 miles away. I was browsing their used gear section on the web while I was bored at a work meeting and the minute I saw it, I ran out of the meeting and called the store. The owner answered and I asked him if the ad was legit. He said yes, and that a guy had traded it in on an acoustic. I gave him my credit card info and bought it immediately. Drove over the day after (yesterday) and picked it up. Refused to fully believe that it was all on the up and up until I had it in my grubby paws. Having spent the last two nights playing her... I feel like one lucky SOB! :D

I dunno... I've sold three amps (Cameron Aldrich for $2100, Cameron Standel for $1600, Brown Note D'Lite 22 for $1200) and a guitar (GMW Rhoads V for $1700) in the past three weeks. You just have to be realistic about what the market will bear right now or keep stuff, I guess... Personally, I just wanted to clear out some stuff that is just taking up space that I never use...

Still have three guitars left to sell...

Steve

Yeah, I haven't had too much trouble selling stuff either, although I don't sell it too often. In the past six months, Diezel VH4 ($2600), EBMM Y2D ($1500), and just recently a 2013 Gibson R8 ($2800).

get it for cheaper then talk....as a matter of fact, just find one then come and talk.
...and in any case, what does that have to do w/ this thread? I suspect that it may have to do with the fact that I'll never sell it to you or your canadian girlfriend and keep calling you out on your bullshit...go spend the rest of your inheritance on crap to flip to other teens w/ their own inheritance to spend.

No idea what in God's name you are talking about but I have owned every Kiko guitar to date, and they were all blown out brand new at $2500. Either way, I dig gear and never have a problem moving anything. If this guy wants to whine about people not buying, he should understand that people don't buy overpriced budget gear. Perfume on a pig.

Oh yeah, and you have tried to sell to me before multiple times. An ESP paul Landers. It was just too expensive, hence why I didn't buy it. Should still have the PMs, as I never clean out my inbox. Nice try though. :)

Absolute bullshit. This one wasn't even allowed to be sold in the US, and was going for $10K+ while it was being made. But again, completely irrelevant to this thread and no idea why you brought it up.

you over-price your turds most of the time and contribute nothing to the forums except for your classified ads (which is one reason you've been banned from at least 3 guitar forums that I know of...multiple times may I add). And about the PL, you had something I kinda wanted, I made you an offer, which you initially accepted then backed out using your wife as an excuse. No worries though....I'm not the one bringing it up...and when was this, like 3 years ago?!! Again, why you are bringing some irrelevant shit up I have no idea.

Ok, you are right. Whatever you say. :)

:D

I'm done too. I know we both have better things to do than argue on the interwebz. Not worth raising blood pressures. :D
