Thanks for welcoming me to site Josh, and everybody. :) It's a breath of fresh air to talk with real honest and concerned musicians instead of all these idiots and scammers on the web now.

Rig-Talk is unique and informative.

Thanks, Lloyd.

Peavey Classic 30
Mesa DC-3
Valvle Jr. (if you don't care about cleans)

I keep hearing about these Valve Jr's. For the cost it seems I should have one no matter what.

Definitely the Blackstar HT-5. That thing sounds amazing, especially for the money.

Kasha Rockmod Brick. Simple. Feature-laden. Effective. Sounds great.

Agree about the Epi Valve Junior. Put a BOSS Power Stack in front and you can get pretty much anything from JTM45 to Recto.

Yea I was looking at the Fender Blues Jr also. Actually the NOS. Definitely has a nice tone. I agree about the Hot Rod's probably being a bit too loud for my needs. The Tiny Terror sounds nice too but a little out of my price range right now. Haven't really heard of the Valve Jr but will surely look into it.

Man, thanks for all these suggestions.

Isn't the Blues Jr the amps that Beck uses on stage? He has a couple of small Fender amps on stage that are mic'ed up. He sounds like god through them but then again I suppose he sounds like that through every amp he plays.

Right. I saw that on the Rock Party video. Couldn't determine if they were Jr's or even Champs! But like you said he sounds good through anything. Even a tin can.

Love my HT-5.

My peavey classic 30 is a touch too loud IMO for a bed roomer, unless you've got great insulation and/or a very understanding family

for late late practices, I use my HT-5 and will sometimes plug my Pod XT live into it. I've got a Grendel dead-room and it's a great late-night "don't bug the neighbors" type of rig

What's the Snot Watt go for? I'm far too lazy to look it up.

I'm still trying to find out myself. I saw on an older Harmony Central post someone was asking $525 for a used one in mint condition, but don't know what they're selling for new yet.

I'm really interested after hearing one on YouTube...
