Oh I'm here watching and reading. Seems cool, and I'm interested. I'd like to see some USA dealers and maybe a few more features worked out like effect loop, the midi/fantom power, USB/edit system become standard. Again I'm really interested and waiting... They need to send RJM a unit so he can add it to the Mastermind GT :D

I believe the loop is fine. Not sure what would be changed?

USB I thought was standard. I have usb

MIDI/Phantom I hear ya, but the MIDI usage will be done in a week or so I think. And the phantom thing is easy with a Rocktron with MIDI phantom. I have used that with my All Access and CAE pedals in racks with no phantom in the fx units.

I thought you ordered it and had the loop or something extra added?
I didn't see the USB lol

My RG-16 powers my GT, guess Incan go through midi thru to the VR. I know there was an issue doing that with the Axe II

At this point I want one .... but no hurry. I have several things I need to take care of first. Maybe this summer sometime. I guess I could speed up things by selling some of the pedals I do not use much anymore.

Meanwhile I hope you do not mind me asking a few questions.... :)
Since so few people have one it is very limited. I saw the problems they had on a few websites... .... Looks like at this point they only sell direct ?

It's a regular option. I believe the loops are already there, I think where they sit in the chain might change, plus an extra buffer? I'd have to reread that stuff

At least on this side of the pond I believe direct is the only way so far. But it was nice that way because I was able to speak with the designer twice and it was very informative.

Very cool you feel the distortion sounds that good.

Yeah, I have had great results with it. It is mostly what I have been trying out. Slight breakup through some very high gain. It is great on it's own, and really shines though my amp. For the stuff I dig - '50s-'90s - it is great. It's very tweakable so, I think most would dig it. Very pickup/volume knob sensitive. And as always, if there is a pedal or pre that you can't live without the loop works great.

I had really thought of running my X99, or CAE 3+, in the loop but I just don't need to. And the cool thing is it was easy to A/B by just running them in the loop and switching the distortion or loop on/off.

I will say, I still haven't 100% decided whether to run as a stand alone or through my amp. Pretty close in tone. I think you get more out of the boost of the VR through the amp, but not much. I play it both ways a couple of times a day and am very happy with both. Started making my own patches/presets today instead of just tweaking. I can say that I don't see taking this out of my rack - ever. I really dig it. Was trying the Flange today and thought it was great. Not a big fx guy to begin with, so not sure how it stacks up with everyone's idea of the perfect flange - but it sounds as good as my TC 2290 I think in this dept.

Seems this is our own private thread. That's a shame because I think a lot of guys here would dig it. It integrates well in several different types of rigs, or as it's own rig. It can be the hub, or a spoke. I think for the guys not wanting digital and not wanting to deal with a switching system this is perfect - and at the same time you could have all of that with this and still be very happy.

I got this because I really didn't want to go down the Eclipse, Gforce route again. I never really bonded with those. And I love my 2290 and PCM70, but that's 3 spaces plus 4-6 if I rack pedals and a switching system/mixer. (I spent over $4k on pedals the last 2 years and still haven't put that together because I don't want to wire and carry it.

Best part about reading the forums is discovering this kind of stuff. I probably never would have known about this without them promoting on the forums - which of course they caught crap about.

I'm still here as well :-) According to Max it's possible to add jacks for relay switching of amp channels etc. I'm also waiting for some other features to be added (midi/phantom power especially), but this looks very interesting.

Oh, I would have loved to have the relays...

A/B the PedalPro's drives against my X99's today for a long time. Had the X99 in the PP's loop so I could easily A/B. It was a toss up if I ran the unit into the LIVE directly. But the X99 did not work at all if I coupled these with the front end of an amp. No brainer, pre into a head doesn't work, but amp was set clean and I am just playing around. Still haven't messed with this in a loop - hopefully this weekend.

As always, FX wise I am more than happy and highly recommend.

Small update: Started using the Pedalino. I haven't been able to use the 3 pressure levels successfully - but 2 is easy. So, unless I can get use to it on 3 levels the virtual pedal board would be hard with 3 pads controlling 3 different things each on their respective level - and not easy to label for live use. Not sure I would get along with it on a dark stage with the pads being black. The expression pedal works well, but It should really have more than one - wah, volume would be great. Any special fx expression thing I would just have a dedicated preset. Also, the inability to power it through the MIDI cable is a drag.

I think the idea is great for more precise control, but I would have liked to have seen the ADES in a standard pedal format. Or a smaller Pedalino that dealt with expression pedals (for the increased efficiency) and just use a regular MIDI pedal for program and CC changes. I think I might try a MIDI Merge box and see if I can use the Pedalino with a MIDI pedal at the same time. I don't know if the PedalPro in ADES mode will still accept MIDI?

Tones are amazing though. I am really glad I got it.

Wow that pedal looks like it is from the 80s

It is very well built, feels like I couldn't break it if I tried, and super thin. I actually like it - very light, super easy to use, small footprint. But it really needs LEDs above the 3 pads for a dark stage, and I need to work more with the pressure pads.

I thought that was a condom at the right hand corner for size comparison

Still liking this thing? Thinking of one to use in front of a 2204 for wah, drive/boost, vibe and delay.

Yes. I love it. And customer service has been excellent. Did the MIDI update and Max called me from Europe and walked me through it. Best purchase in a long time.

So going to resurrect this thread. Do you still have the unit? If so do you still love it, and if not why'd you sell it?

Yes, I still have it. And I still love it. The sound is pristine, and the programability is great. I've used it in a variety of different rigs. No issues. For me, one of my best purchases in quite a while.

Probably user error but I can't seem to find any info on purchasing. Are you still using the proprietary foot controller?

Have you used this in a 4 x cable configuration? If yes, what is your opinion?

I like it much more than the digital multi fx units I've used. I believe anything effects your tone - whether it's converters or buffers - but not everything in a bad way. I think this preserves your tone very well and any change is "musical". like a 2290. The boost/drive are nice up front, and fx are very warm.
