In all these good newer bands I like the guitar work, but can’t love the “sweet” vocals. Somehow those older bands managed to nail same “sweet” vocals, newer bands’ I just can’t make myself love.

that is already how they do this type of music on recording - in fact it's even more fake than this

Lukas mann or Berried alive are literally faking every single note, this is just a pedal that fakes the metalcore minor 2nd and minor 9ths that are used in breakdowns of this godawful style of music

I know but with products like this, some of these guys will have the pedal/software/AI generating 50% or more of the notes emanating out of their instruments during concerts. So while technically their performances are still “live”, as in not miming to backing tracks, I’m afraid of how much this will blur the lines between what’s considered real live playing and what’s assisted live playing. Yes, I think that’s going to become a thing, way beyond lip synching, backing tracks, etc.

they are already blurring the lines between "live performance" and miming, and this is just going to make it worse
