I’ve got the PCB version and it kills, wondering if the difference is worth the $.

No. Honestly if I can describe an amp in that it kills, I’m not looking any further. Especially if you’re talking a lot of money to find out.
You could always order one from a place with a good return policy and try it out. No opinion on here, including mine, will really tell you what you want to know, but 5 minutes with the amp will reveal all.

If the PCB version is doing it for you that well, then put difference you'd spend on the HW towards another PCB version. If one kills it, then imagine two in stereo. No matter how good the hw version is, I doubt it's twice as good.
