I'm using a minimalist set up at the moment.

One more of the full live rig, rehearing for a big upcoming show.

Kinda difficult to see I guess but it's a pic I took at a function gig I did last weekend.

Fender CS Heavy Relic 1960 HSS Strat -> EVH 5150III 50w -> Zilla Super Fatboy 2x12

I REALLY want a Head/Rack combo set up so that i don't have to have a seperate 4 space rack.

Upgraded the patch cables last week to planet waves solderless.

I think Zachman just got KO'd.

NAH... Cool stuff though. I LOVE it!

VERY Smart!! -- using a modular approach (pre-amps in one case, effects in another, and power amps in another.). I am assuming, stereo configurations.

Basically looks like 4 discrete and wonderfully simple mono, and/or stereo rigs-- BRILLIANTLY configured using a modular approach-- Makes mixing and matching easy. The effects are decent too. I really like Rocktron, and Digitech too. I still have an Intellifex that I've had for YEARS, in another rig. Totally been reliable, sounds great, and user friendly. I'll gladly take my amps and outboard gear selection ANY day of the week though... No offense intended

I kinda hit and run on this thread yesterday without much explanation. Zach, thanks for the compliments. Your rig is amazing and much more practical for live use. Mine is just for my entertainment in my home studio. I would take a much more minimalistic approach if I were still gigging on a regular basis. Anyways, in case anyone is interested I'll explain my approach a bit. The heart of the rig is the rack with the rack wah, mesa amp switchers etc. I run into the rack wah and out to an Axess GRX4 where I can switch the pedals in/out of the signal path. The GSP 1101 serves double-duty as fx in front of the amp and also my grab and go rig when I occassionally jam with buddies on the weekend. The signal then goes to the amp switcher (first amp switcher feeds second amp switcher ala Petrucci) and then out to the indididual rigs. I've since condensed my rigs down to three stereo rigs: a Boogie rig with Dual Recto Rack/Triaxis/2:90, Mako/Engl rig and of course my 80's rig with the Soldano X88R and ADA MP1 3TM. The fx in each rig are run in parallel to maintain the dry tone. I'm not a big fx guy so the Rocktron units work perfectly fine for me. They sound good and I'm used to the interface so if it isnt't broke why fix it. The entire rig is controlled with one Liquid Foot Pro midi controller (with the exception of the GSP 1101 which is controlled with the Control 2). That's about it!

I wouldn't know how to even turn on either of these rigs. Looks crazy though.

Here is my current rig! It changes quite frequently! Patiently waiting my new billet logos! Expect them within a week!

That white Custom with the iron cross is worthy of a dedicated picture. That kicks ass. Hard.

Yea I need to get some better pics of it, its actually a late 70's early 80's MIJ Burny RR custom copy, great guitar that can hang with any Gibson USA guitar Ive owned.

I'm jealous of the blue face

LOL....The VH4 has cured amp gas for me, such a great amp. I had to sell a bunch of stuff to get it but I have no regrets now because it works so well for what I need/do.
