SOLID STATE? j/k It has it's place, I get a real kick out of those internet tough guys that are always spouting off about "pure tube tone" and shit but then they stick some ss pedal in front to get their tone. It's gotta be some magical fairy dust ultra vintage tube screamer or something though, they have to justify all that cash they forked out somehow.

i should post a quick picture of the notes for such a design. you wouldnt believe the math thats involved in designing transistor equivalent gain stages - totally unbelievable. and i have to be able to do it from memory by the 8th.

technically the math is the same - tube or SS. whatever floats anyone's boat as to which to use i could care less

Thanks! I had it for a few years. Akira Takasaki from Loudness. That is his guitar brand. Its for sale currently on EBAY and on this board. Have to pay for some recently purchased gear.
