I like Olas video's.:2thumbsup:

If his main source of income was You Tube that was his first mistake.........YT can make changes to the algorithm and suddenly your videos no longer get views.........income goes down and you can't even argue against them as they would have to admit wrongdoing. Youtube giveth and Youtube taketh away...............

I imagine it coincides with the slowed gear market in general. A lot of channels really picked up during COVID. Companies are also just pushing so many products now I quit paying attention to most of them.

I can appreciate Ola at least shares some honesty in his reviews that most others avoid though. Like he was more forward about the Jackson USA SL3 that doesn't offer a lot of value for the price than most other reviewers.

Btw the history behind Gorilla amps actually would be a good idea
My first amp, after plugging into the shared with my sister stereo system of course, was a Gorilla combo. After a month or so, I added a DOD American Metal pedal to the front end. I was a tone God! Not.

Yep. It's how my youngest son makes a living. Granted $70k in one year for a 21 year old is damn good. Keeping it up and keeping up with YT is the challenge.

Tiny cabin videos are big right now. Maybe Ola can buy some land and build a remote tiny cabin, and demo an amp once in awhile in it. Do some gratituous drone shots of forest tree tops.
Kyle Bull will provide the eye protection for the construction phase.

I think the running the amps in stereo would be fucking cool. Some of the guys on here do it. But to get it properly micd and blended would kill

He need help because he's come to the realisation that his entire concept has hit saturation level. Just like modern metal music. How many times can you flog a dead horse. How many ways can you make a ham sandwich.

Time to go on coursera.

I like Ola but he might have to face the reality that it’s time to make YouTube a hobby. He might just have to go out and get a job like the rest of us. I think he’s stated that he has an accounting background. There is always jobs available for accountants.

Or do Lessons. Tons of working musicians depend on doing lessons all the way from big acts to smaller venue guys. He could make a decent bit just by offering individual lessons and teach about shit from technique, dialing in tone, setting up gear, touring, etc..
