How many guitars is too many?

Keep her a GF until she caves in and is in agreement with you....

Whatever the magic number is for you, buy double and tell her that is what you need to be happy. Then when you get married and she wants you to sell off guitars offer the sell half...

Its a win-win for you. If she gets used to tons of music junk around the house and doesn't mind it, she's a keeper. If she agrees to half the premarital amount you still win.

My take on it is that two more than you have now is too many, because you always need one more.
