tried one years ago, didn't keep it long, couldn't find the "sweet spot" or best way to run it, was disappointed with it, so it got sold pretty quickly. might've been awesome, but never could find the awesome.

Thx for the answer dude! I am looking for a high gain tube preamp so that I can I use it with my torpedo CAB. I don't want be dependent on my mark III

Tried to do the same thing you are, could never find a sound I was happy with. Jave since moved on to running everything inside my PC.

Ill sell you mine if you want to give it a try.

you can try the Kartakou Beastbox, great gearman type hi gain tone, its a pedal so with work great with the torpedo
