I need another unloaded 4x12. Suggestions please?

I have a theory that 4 MATCHING speakers should have a more solid & tighter feel than mixed pairs etc, due to the fact that resonant peaks match..

After years of A/Bing, I think you're right. Mixing speakers often gives a cool blend, but isn't quite as solid as all matching ones.

Ive been mixing speakers for years and I've always came back to using 4 of the same speaker.
Im not saying that mixing is bad but i prefer 4 of the same

As far as the Mills cabs are concerned, I think that they are great and insanely built but as with any piece of gear, It's not going to be everyones cup of tea

I don't know why more metalheads don't like Greenbacks. I have a quad of English ones in my Orange ppc412 and you would never know they are a low output speaker. I flip between it and the Voltage with V30s as my favorite on a weekly basis.

I hear ya. I've got serious GB GAS! I plan on getting a cab with them soon and running it with another cab that has higher wattage speakers.

That GB loaded black Orange cabinet is pure sex. If you ever decide to sell it and buy another cab, let me know. Then you can send it across the prairies to me.

I love that cab. I don't think I could sell either half-stack. I've been playing the Chimera through the V30s and it's definitely better suited to the Orange. I can't wait until next week to get a ribbon mic so that I can do some justice to my amps because the SM57 is so bright and doesn't let the amp really breathe. It spits fire and has nice and thick bass, but it won't let it get through to the clip.

Stone Age 4x12 (G12M Heritage)
Engl Pro 4x12 (V30s)

I'm loading the new cabinet with G12K100s. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I'm thinking of selling my Avatar 4x12 (Vntage), unloaded or with G12T-75's, as soon as my Marshall cab arrives, which should be the middle / late part of next week.

You ever see the insides of a Stone Age cabinet? Impeccable construction. Dave is helping me turn my Stone Age into one of his Marshall cabinets cosmetically and my Heritage Greenies are gonna get loaded into it.

I'm getting a 5150 III cabinet and loading it with my K100s and selling the speakers. I thought I wasn't going to be able to get the cabinet, but I should have it in a few weeks.

Nice, those once broken with sound very good Zewango brought his EVH but it never got plugged in, wish it did.
