Haha! That seems to be a trend right now. I'm personally on my second. I think we just tend to sell our gear without really giving it a fair chance.

a custom shop LP Standard with a single hum and single volume. I would also buy a bunch of amps, try them all out pick my favorite and build a rig around it.

I'd probably go for an Axe FX II and the MFC-101. Versatility. The last piece I'd ever "need".
