In your opinion... Best guitar made today

I'll go EBMM. The necks are just so comfy to me. Love my 25th.

Musicman gets my vote. Every model very well made. I wish you could get SS frets with them though...

I stick with my Strats. I've owned multiples of high end guitars thru the decades, including Suhr, Tyler, TA, Knaggs. The only ones I think back on and liked/played the most were the TA's

It changes for from time to time, but as for right now I'd have to say the new PRS guitars are rocking my world right now... The new custom 22 reissues and the PRS Floyd Rose Model with the \m/ new PRS metal pickups are just killing me!

I did my recent Friedman BE100 clip with this new PRS Custom 22 stoptail I got in two weeks ago.

It rips so much that it is "totally owning" my new Les Paul custom I just got in last week as well...

Tom Anderson and Suhr

Tough to beat these two builders. I no longer own any Suhrs but that could change at any time. My #1 and #2 for anything outside of hard rock/metal are both Andersons.

I've owned quite a few including the top builders like Tyler, Tom Anderson, etc but this one is the best guitar I've ever owned.

couple of my favorite guitars that i think is some of the best made today.

Kenneth lawrence instruments- ive owned many top of the line guitars and the quality of my KL's was top notch and the best ive owned, ken spends alot of time on any guitar he builds and you need to play one to fully appreciate their greatness.

Another guitar that really impressed me was my esp 20th anniversary kirk hammett kh-20.
Theres only 40 in the world and the quility was the best of any esp guitar i ever played and better than other brands that ive owned and played, its expensive but really a great guitar. The attention to detail is excellent and it sounds awesome.

i also have owned some really nice gibsons, prs, fenders, suhr and some of them was really great.

Pick any number of a handful of great builders, all make fantastic guitars. Too subjective to definitively say. I dig PRS and Suhr, but I've not played some of the new builders.

Where's the Mcnaught love? I've had a Phoenix and my buddy has 3 Mcnaught's and they are unreal. The craftsmanship is jaw dropping and they practically play themselves. Not cheap though, that's for sure. The only negative I have is that they're too nice to take out of the house.

Suhrs for me. Every time I pick one of mine up, I feel like there are guitars, and then there are my Suhrs. In case of fire, I'll go back in for my Suhr Moderns.

Charvel Custom shop for me. Though I have never played a TA.

The one that you like the most! That's it!
Have to agree with this.
For me personally its the ESP Custom Shop Kami I got off Steve K.
Owned tons and tons of guitars. Close to 400 thru the years.
I am sure there are some that were special but for just ripping out and playing.
Its this Custom ESP. Just feels...plays....and sounds right with my rig. Love it.

Vigier? Even though my friend endorsed them, I ordered a Shawn Lane and it couldn't survive a trip from Fla to NY. A year earlier I saw a guy in England experienced the same damage on a Shawn Lane model. IMO, they are likely stuck together w/ chewing gum, balsa wood. Junk  POS

I share your sentiments. Suhrs for life!
