    It actually started out to be faded blue-jean, but its kinda morphed into a color all its own. It does kinda look greenish in that pic. the finish is so thin, it seems to age quickly ( I guess ) When I got it, it was new, but already 4-5 years old. Had been in a dealer's office stash all that time. I wont be getting rid of it, its the most resonant guitar I've ever played. I never really thought that was too big a deal until I played this one, it wasent plugged in the first time I played it, but I could feel it as well as hear it, never had anything like it. I played one of the new ME's 3 weeks ago, they are prettier, but not as resonant. :D My McCartys (which I love) are pretty resonant, if you put your ears near (6") from the headstock, you can hear them resonate, but this one, you can hear just sitting down with it, I guess its the Brazilian RW neck, and the finish being so thin. I caught the dealer in a bind, and got lucky. I had to let go of a ton of stuff to get it, but I have been very happy with it.
Soooo.....Faded Blue Jean PRS Modern Eagle /w solid Rosewood neck? Shit....I had better start a savings acct devoted to financing this guitar....its like....6/7 grand...
When these were released, they were 8 grand ( i would never pay that ) the newer ones are less, but they are indian RW, they dont ring the same, and the finish appears to be thicker (?) There appears to be a lot of difference in the tone from ax to ax, Brad said he ran into this also. They are all very good, but some are absolutely magical. I never heard that much of a difference in the Braz RW fingerboards, but the necks appear to be a different story. Look for a used older one, with the BRW neck, instead of the newer ones, I've seen a few come up on Birds and Moons, that were mint, but they were almost as much as I paid for mine new :D :D

My problem is that instead of one, I have at least one DOZEN guitars that I'd never part with. Wish is was only 2 or 3. My life would be easier

I've had this one for 30 years now (Original owner). My Great Grandmother bought this for me, and barring needing some organs transplanted, this stays

I have 5-6 that will go nowhere, took long enough to find them and I am not as lucky as others that sell the best guitar I have ever played" crowd :D Took awhile to get the ones I have ;)
