At this stage I'd go for a thinline tele before a strat. They all sound good but a 335 and a Twin is pretty much the blues players rig of choice. Easy bending, sustain, rich lead tones with ease. Even Buddy sounded tops on a 335 JMHO.

If they made slightly beefier versions of these closer to a standard tennis shoe, I'd probably get a pair for work, managing a bread route. It's a lot of walking, squatting, pushing/pulling stacks of bread.

These have a beefy sole, and they are the medium thickness. They make some with less "ground feel". I love these ones more than my other pair for that reason. I can walk on sharp gravel or Legos with these.

I'd stub my toe on a rock ten feet out my front door with those. Until I picked up these sweet Carlos blue suedes I even used my combat boots as a slipper/sandal substitute. No doubt Carlos has smoothly paved driveways and red carpets everywhere he goes, judging by the soles on these puppies.

No. I ordered the snakeskin boots but they were too a little big and I wasn't super blown away by the print on the leather. They had the PRS headstocks on them but I sent them back and grabbed the blue suedes instead. I realized I'm more of a square toe guy when it comes to shit kickers anyways, otherwise it feels like I'm wearing aladdin shoes with them points, LOL.
