Just busted out my BC Rich...

I'm of the same opinion that 5k is quite an exorbitant price for a new BCR. The blue and red mockingbird and the birdseye maple are an '80 and '81 respectively. They were made back in BCR's heyday with Bernie Sr at the helm and I paid less than half the price of a new one for the both of em. Buying used is really the only way to go.
