But that ball sack hair may make all the difference. Having a pubic hair stuck between your teeth or not can be the difference between an enjoyable evening and a horrible evening

Amps like the Deizel VH4 are way overpriced, do not live up to the hype, and have nothing on the classic fire breather of the 5150 for 1/4th the cost.

I understand where you're coming from, but in America, Diezel prices are considerably higher than over here in Europe due to customs etc. Just like we significantly overpay for Mesas.

If I look at a big German dealer's website, the difference between the EvH 5150 III 100W and the Diezel VH4 is 2,099 vs 2,899 euros. So there the difference is a lot smaller. Sound is of course a matter of taste, but if you just look at it from a technical side, the VH4's features may justify the price difference (if those features matter to you).

Other than that, I do not think that that was an unpopular opinion. The 5150 III slays. Not sure if it slays the VH4's channel 3, but I get the bang-for-buck argument.

People that buy and sell amps constantly are usually average to below average talentwise, and are always hoping that that next new buy will put them over the top, which it never will.

- Most people EQ their amps to their ears, and if their ears have had 20 years of gigging and shows then they will dial in a tone with an EQ curve to suit their fucked ears. Even if they have the best tube set up, I see guys dial in awful tones and then show off about their gear, turning gold into a turd.

I don't care if you have an amp hand built by Ghandi, if you EQ an amp to your buggered ears then your done will also be buggered.

Buys gym equipment - never uses it
Buys a sports car - is an automatic
Buys loads of guns - been to the range twice
Buys wife new diamond earrings - she's stilll fucking Juan the gardener
Buys 20 rare guitars and amps - still fucking sucks at guitar

Sometimes its all for show and braging rights, you can buy a lifestyle, if you want to look like a rockstar it's easy.

I like your response and agree with you. I had the 50 watt 5153, good amp, especially for the $, but I like the 5150/6505 voicing more. Both are good though.

And YES, that girl is certainly very pretty indeed. Not a fan of tattoos on women, but she is gorgeous.

Damn... Was really hoping you'd step up and provide a (much) bigger picture.

Just to keep this thing going.

And I mean this, I fuckin hate unboxing videos.
Music related because I'm referring to guitar gear vids.

One guy takes out the fuckin candy from sweet water.
Between that stupid shit and the fuckin crackling sound of packing paper.

I swear I want to fuckin knock out these stupid assholes.

My bipolar kicks in big time over this shit.

I put Alex Lifeson, CC Deville and Kirk Hammett in the same league.
Carlos Santana too.
Joe Bonamassa does nothing for me.
Grand Funk was an awesome band.
When playing live, I don't even think about my amp or pedals. Any rig I've had that's good enough to gig with just works.
Randy Rhoads shouldn't be compared to Ed. Not even close.
Aerosmith was better when they sucked.
Frank Marino is a God.
Motorhead sucked.
The Ramones sucked.
New Country is an insult to my intelligence.

Knaggs guitars look like shit (they may well be awesome, but when they look like that, i just can't care)

Agree!
As a songwriter, George Harrison put Lennon/McCartney to shame. Quality over quantity.

An $800 used JCM 800 and a boost pedal shits on 80% of the amps people on this forum buy.

A Gibson Firebird is quite possibly the ugliest guitar ever produced.

There's way too much negativity and bickering going on in this forum lately. I used to teach 7th grade. The behavior here reminds me a lot of how those kids would bicker. We really need to turn this around. All of us.
+1

The reason you keep searching for the "perfect tone" is cuz you suck, you've always sucked and will inevitably suck in death. Now FUCK OFF!

Oh yeah, Please stop putting guitars in grass and taking pics. Just don't get it.

I'm listening to Korn

new Korn album rules.[/quote]

I was reading in Guitar World that they started writing this album on 8 strings but Davis wouldn't have it! I'd love to hear those demos on 8 strings. Head and munky seemed pretty jazzed up about it. I bet it kicked fucking ass.

Friedman amps sound great but the ODC in me can't stand the offset logo and panel. Sorry.

I know it is a take on the old Marshalls but it is just goofy. Think how good his amps would look if things were centered. :dunno:

People who say they have OCD but can't get the letters in the right order make my OCD flare...

:D
