Marshall Cabs cost more than Bogner Cabs??

As a dealer, I was furious to see the gigantic price increase as of Jan 1. I was proud of Orange, again as a dealer, for not following suit, and they just announced this week that their UK based gear is all basically doubling in cost. While I love both lines, $6-$7k for a half stack is ridiculous
Terrible news.... but I bet friedman and bogner etc are loving this scenario.. how could they not

Yea,, Marshall is done in the USA now... only the cheap crap is affordable- MG series etc. The party is over
It’s been that way in the US with Marshall since 2013/14. Only recently have new 1960 cabs dropped below $1600 here. 10yrs ago a new 2203x cost $3k+

Marshall BVs are better than ubekcab imo . Worth the price . But that’s for me . Other might feel different . I only keep my ubekcab becasue with my Wizards it’s unreal . But other than that it’s not pairing well with my other amps . For me

that price is $1099 at Sweetwater and they will deal. Not saying that's cheap, but it ain't $1600
The US Marshall prices went down a couple years ago. New Marshall 1960 cabs were over $1600 for 10yrs before that.

I just picked up another mint slant 1960 for $300

It's a ghetto cheap ass thing. Too cheap and lazy to use quality hardware... I avoid any cabs that come stock with these trash T-screws/nuts. Straight up garbage.

And speaker wire with slide on spade connectors... another hallmark of craptastic craftsmanship.
My Avatar cab has those slide on spade connectors. I find it very convenient for swapping speakers. Love that cab too. Wouldn't call it craptastic craftmanship at all.
