Thats the funny thing about this amp. It had the Beast mode ON and the EQ was about noon all the way across the board. the INTENSITY knob on the Beast setting was at about noon as well so I guess it can get a little more aggressive then I had it set at. The Presence was at about 3/4. I thought this was going to be a BRUTAL METAL amp but its not.
It sounds just like my FJA modded JCM800 I owned. Think of Anthrax "Among the Living" album. This is that tone.
It does Hair metal REALLY REALLY good with a little more aggressiveness having the BEAST mode on this amp.
I am really digging this amp. Very versatile.
A Factory 'modded' Marshall JCM800. Pretty cool.
I have owned alot of Marshalls that were modded and this one is near the top of the list! :rock:
But what works perfect for me may not be everyones cup of tea. ;)
 
Is this amp basically just a high gain Marshall? How is it at low volumes and for classic rock tones?

ITs cool.....has a BOOST which is like adding a "modded" tone....
then click it off and it was basically a JCM800....Great amp. If it had a loop I would of kept it.
 
I use mine as a straightup metal machine. No effects, no boost, no gate. It has everything in it already, without any unnecessary stuff that I don't need.
