I did grab a Royal Atlantic head last month for $1,000.

When someone goes out and buys a $1500 - $2000 guitar head they're making a serious investment. They're probably in a band looking to improve their sound and their bands sound. When a Mom buys a $300 Line 6 amp as a present chances are it will be collecting dust 2 months later.
