Mesa DUAL RECTIFER REBORN!!! NAD

I owned a Reborn Dual Rectifier for a year but got sick of still not getting a lead voice that sounded or felt good to me. I finally had a 2001 DR modified by BFG Amplification and this is now the best Dual Rec I have owned. I have owned a 90s DR, 2001, and Reborn. The BFG modded one is the best I have played, for me!

I've owned several early Recto's and they do vary quite a bit from amp to amp. Some are just flat out awesome and others....not so much.

This is very true. I have had the 2 channel dual, 3 channel triple, 3 channel dual, and the Tremoverb. The only one I could gel with at all was the Tremoverb. I have heard some killer clips from the reborns and would like to try one out.
 
old thread but still has some good info, i dont own the reborn anymore, i had it for about 9 months and sold it. i still like these amps alot and they are my favorite rectos.
erock always prasied the triple and said it was a better sounding than the dual, he was one of the prevoious owners of my amp and he and i like alot of the same tones.
 
Yea erock was the one to make me try both dual n triple. I talk to him in length about it. Triple was bigger deeper n more present than dual. Both sounds great. Though.
 
Love my 2-channel Triple. I always thought the Triples sound much better.

I just got a Mini Rectifier also. It is funny to compare the 2 :)
