that was fuckin cool! guess they burried the hatchet, at least a little.

Yea the jvms he uses sound really good. I was at the giant stadium big four, His sound was Awesome. Incidentally I tried one at a sam ash or guitar center one day sounded like shit. I saw another band use one a few weeks later same thing. Then i was doing a marshall sponsored festival thing and they supplied the back-line. OMG it was like a different amp. So i am sure there are some good ones floating around. Versatile to get any sound off any album they had im sure of that. Cliffs definitely laughing upstairs with dime and company doing some shooters saying i guess hell did freeze over lol.

Metallica with Dave Mustaine, I cannot wait for the Brand new Album that follows!

wow that concert looks epic. i wish it was pro. recorded. i would love to see the whole thing. looks like everyone and their dog was there.

I wonder if dealing with Lars' horrible timing al these years is what has corrupted Kirk's Vibrato and phrasing. Watching these vids every guest player must have a killer internal meter just to make it through, especially on the Sabbath stuff

Dave should give Lars a metronome for christmas that would be a wonderful gift.

Here is a cool video of some folks talking about Cliff. I have been a Metallica fan my whole life and had no idea how close he was to Mike Bordin. I knew about Jim Martin but had no idea about Mike.

I knock Lars but those videos are all pretty cool. It did look like a lot of fun. I felt it was a better history of NWOBHM than that boring series on VH1classic about Metal Evolution

The King Diamond one was super cool and John Bush sounded really good with them.

Mustaine is a snooze and definitely not Metallica material. It's a good thing he moved on, or they moved him on. Great seeing Jason up there though.
