I wanna get one of these amps and compare it side by side with my slash 2555.
 
If I bought one of those and it sounded like that I'd have to hang myself. :doh:
 
The amp is fun. It works fine with the afd mode. But, it's not a JCM800. I do like it more than the distortion I get on my Plexi but that should be the case right?

btw, weak cleans on this amp as well.

Now this is an honest review, but you basically took the sale out of my dealers pocket. :thumbsup:
 
Wow Marshall really hyped this amp up too.... hopefully the YJM will deliver

I have heard clips where this amp sounded pretty good to though so you might want to reconsider Art. :lol: :LOL:
 
Yeh Art. It's fun. Sure I've been playing GNR tunes since I bought it with a Slash LP.
 
You guy's are making me nervice,just kidding. If I don't like I don't have to take it. We will see when it comes in.

I thought it sounded great from clips I heard. It's a shame you don't seem that impressed.

Thanks for the link, i think i will wait till i can find one on a good deal or wait till used prices come down, i didnt like any of the tones in the video but im the type of person that needs to try it for myself. If anybody knows of a sick deal on a new slash let me know.
 
Wow....thanks for the honest review. I new the AFD would tank, just buy a Quickrod for those kinda tones... Sounds way better and it's cheaper.
