Do you know what those two toggle switches do? One seems to change the voicing (sag to tight) and the other seems to act like a bright switch.
Can't, Dave & i have a verbal agreement, it would be like pissing off GOD himself.scriptphase":45n408ke said:

The PT100 is a completely different animal. The PT100 does not sound like a traditional mod'ed Marshall. It has tons of gain but is it more of a "wall of sound" type vibe and does better at big chords rather than single note riffs...think STP's first album. Big, rich, open chords. It takes pedals really well though so you can kind of make it into anything.

The pt100 can get pretty brutal if you push it. It takes very well to boost pedals, so it opens up a lot of possibilities with the "girth" the amp already has. If I'm not mistaken, I think Pete from The Absence used it on one of their CD's.duodecim":1m1smlee said:rockinchippy":1m1smlee said:duodecim":1m1smlee said:Nice. How does it compare to the PT-100?

Thanks. I guess non of these amps really make it into the "brutal" category then?
Enjoy your new amp... I wish I could try out some of those mod'ed Marshall tones!![]()

I detect a bit of unwanted fizz/fuzz.
Gibson Les Paul Boneyard with Burstbucker 3 through CAA 4x12 with v30s.
Biggest difference in that clip...more gain...more gain trim. Also, not sure where I had the bright switch and the gain-mode set...
Going to bring that back down a bit for next clip.

Actually, the Cameron can get like death metal brutal.
