congrats, im a huge fan of the herbert, i usually play mine boosted on ch2 and recently got a new 4x12 rear loaded v30 diezel cab, im kinda sorry i also didnt get a front loaded cab too.

On another note, just got off the phone with Gc manager at my dallas, and he's gonna get me the Gc bux off the Herbert purchase, that just started today. $10 for every hundred. Should be getting like $400 in Gc bux. Makes buying it new a lot nicer. Plus they gave me great value for my dmoll

My butterslax stack may be going on the block. I wouldn't mind going down to 1 amp for a while, I'm only jamming at home right now, and have 2 kids in diapers so, I won't have the ability to play out much for a little while. They are both extraordinary amps, but the Diezel just has this sub low punch that I've been searching for a very long time. Lots of testing in the future and comparing.

Times like this I wish I weren't Canadian so I can buy your cab!! have you tried the herbert through it? they look insane I've always wanted to play one, does it remind you of your uberschall at all?

The Uberschall was a great, great amp. But the Herbert mkII is on a completely different level. There's a reason these cost so much. Plug it into a GOOD 412 turn it up. There is NOTHING that can produce punishing, sub level thumping, Slicing, warm, 3D metal tones like the Herbert MKII. It is the best for this. I like the butterslax to but it has this different feel to it, more Marshally metal but brutal and has this growl...... The Diezel is something something different, something special.
