NAD: Soldano SLO-100, signed purple panel

Oh my, she's a beauty. Shout out to RedPlated who helped make this happen, as these are kind of hard to order. I ran it for a few min. before I decided I needed to tame the gain, rolled some 12AT7s in and that did the trick. Then I checked bias, which was right at 65%.

If you only have an SLO-30, it lacks nothing, but the 100w definitely has a punch in the chest vibe to it you wouldn't think were missing from the 30w. I'll make the wild guess this thing will cut like a laser at band practice. Anyway, anyone want to buy my SLO-30?

Yes, this is a BAD one, it was made last week.

I always run these with both volumes dimed and then through an attenuator. I have Hot Plate and a Marshall Power Brake. I love them both.

I’ve had both the 100 and 30 watt BAD SLO’s. I actually prefer the 30 personally. But they’re both good. Mine are modded, though.

I just picked up a purple 30 about a month or so ago.

I can't wait to take this to band practice, but for now we're doing a near silent practice with in-ears and I'm using my GK 250ML. But when we get into a large rehearsal space soon for a big upcoming theatre gig, I'll be bringing the heavy artillery.

I've played the 30 a handful of times in the shops. Its a kicking lil amp. Better than the Hot Rod 25, imo.
I could be happy with the SLO30 and a 2x12 as an only amp. Maybe.
