Got it, it's amazing. More guitar solos on this album then any of the previous BW releases. Very diverse. Go buy it!!

Agree. I think it's really good and some great guitar work. Definitely worth picking up IMHO.

I have a gift card for Zia out here and waiting for them to get it in... Heard Albatross on the radio today also

What else is he using now besides the bones?

Still his old Ampeg V4, pedal and g-system.

What!?!? No Traynors... ;)

Ha ha, no traynor amps but he digs the traynor 4x12s.

New change, the Bones is going to be the main tone source with a power amp for sauce.

Cheers,
Mike

Is he goin for a W/D/W setup?

Visited Ian at his studio today. We're going to rework his rig, rewire and all. Got a local guy that can do it for him. Bones will be the main tone source with an on the fly Soldano HR50 that he can bring in via a volume pedal. Yes, wet dry set up. Got some pics of the before rig. If I get a chance over the weekend, I'll post a couple. Listening to the new album, very cool and nice to hear tasty solos on every song again.
Cheers,
Mike

Ah I better just do it now, I know I'll side tracked

So if you don't mind me asking Mike, which amps will be wet, which will be dry?

Ok I get the W/D/W setup and even throwing in the HR50, but whats with the Marshall's?

A power amp is going to get added with the source tapped from the Bones. Soldano just comes in on the fly via a volume pedal and that amp is isolated and dry.

You mean the JMP-1? That is not even connected and is coming out of the rack.

Cheers,
Mike

Anyone know where can I buy the CD? I got In Memory from amazon but, Albatross is $33! Call me old fashioned but, I like looking at the pictures and reading the liner notes in my hands so I don't want the $8.99 download, I want the physical CD.

This is a KILLER track off the new album. Great Great Great solo at about 2:57. I love how Ian goes blues at the end of the first major run. :)
Buy the album if you haven't.

I'm really digging the album. I was hoping it was going to be a bit heavier, but I still really like it over all.
