Expectations are everything with this unit. I think the FAS stuff is the best modeling available but not 100% like a tube amp.

Congrats, if there is any way to be able to afford a high end FRFR than I highly suggest doing so.
AX8 is definitely awesome.

Congrats! And I agree ^. I'd really try to play it through a nice FRFR set up. The type of amplification makes a huge difference and can really make-or-break your experience with these things.
