Hate to even say this but after listening to the preview of each song up on itunes, I must say I'm not as stoked as I was for this album.
Kind of unfair to pass judgement on the album simply based on one minute previews of each song. I'll have to take it for a spin when it drops when I can hear each song in its entirety in context. There seem to be a few really catchy tunes from what I previewed, but the rest of the songs seem meh. Too much of that melo-death anthem vibe (like a lot of the Arch Enemy stuff). Most of this album seems to lack the thrashy elements I like about the band, but like I said, need to give it a solid listen when it drops.
I absolutely loved and still love Phantom Antichrist, and of course most of their old stuff, but this album seems to lack the ferocity and thrashy elements that Phantom Antichrist has.
