Book matching like that is why I am so hard on other big box big price manufactures, you ask the price you better put out more than a label.

Beautiful guitar Jason

Agreed. The fit and finish on this guitar is ridiculous. The top is so perfect. I lost it when I opened up the case. Could not believe how badass it was.

Thanks, Mo! This thing is killer.

Holy crap!! That guitar is wicked! I love the simplicity of the guitar with one volume control and a three way selector. The black hardware adds to the look . I have never played a guitar in swamp ash. How is it fitting your style? Seriously Jason, beautiful!

It's like Jesus farted in water and somebody took a picture of it...

MAN wonder how much that thing set you back....amazing...

Holy wow is that sexy! I'll bet it sounds even better than it looks.
Even in a picture that top looks DEEP. Perfect matching too.

Why did it take so long you ask? I originally asked for a reverse headstock. They have never made a reverse headstock 7 before and mine was going to be the first one. Lots of stuff was going on at Anderson (busy as hell plus a company move) and Tom never wrote the program for the CNC which apparently is a major undertaking. I opted to wait it out but then was told a few moths later that Tom had too much on his plate and that it was going to be until late this year when he could devote the time to writing the program.

Wow, very beautiful.
Sorry you didn't get your reverse. Not a big deal to mirror image a path. This is pure conjecture, but I'm guessing they don't create their own tool paths but have an outside company do it, probably whoever sold them the CNC router or mill, whatever they use.
Another possibility is that TA does not make their own necks but subs them out to another company like Warmoth or USA Custom Guitars. Many smaller builders do this.
Not at all trying to say anything negative about TA, just trying to look for a logical reason why they would accept an order for a reverse but not be able to produce it.
Regardless, it looks fantastic! Great to see a fixed bridge that is not a TOM, as well.

Thanks!

TAG builds all of their own necks I assure you. Tom actually writes the programs for the CNC himself. I don't have a clue what goes into that but I am sure there is more to it than I think. At the end of the day, I am a happy guy so all is well.

Congrats...that one is simply incredible!!!

I'm pretty sure that all Anderson parts are manufactured by First Act and simply put together in Tom's shop ;)

Comedy Gold! Especially if you've had the pleasure of playing guitars from both manufacturers.
I must admit, I was under the impression that "series10" made Tom's necks and bodies, and that Anderson pickups were actually rebranded "powersound" pickups. ;)

I generally hate quilt tops, but Jesus H Christ that is fucking awesome.

Swamp Ash is my favorite tonewood for bolt on construction. The big bottom end of the swamp ash and the attack of the maple neck and top compliment each other in a way that yields a tight percussive tone with a nice snap in the top. The rosewood board makes sure there isn't too much snap and warms things up a tad. Overall, it is is a big and balanced tone that has the perfect amount of bottom for the low B.

This guitar is so loud when strummed acoustically. Louder than anything else I own.
