I bought a semi-hollow McCarty 594 singlecut last summer and havent thought about another guitar since, except getting another one. The 58/15 low output pickups are fantastic. MotorCity pickups are my goto without giving any other pick up the time of day. The 58/15 are just as good as any BKP or MCP low output out there and are still sitting in the McCarty.

Just got this 594 yesterday!!!

Never owned a Gibson or a Les Paul style guitar, but decided to try one. About a month ago I picked up a PRS SC 594 McCarty and really liked it. The shorter 24.594 inch scale length felt so comfortable I started wanting the try the SC245 which is the 24.5 inch scale length, not that .094 inch made a big difference, but wanted to try the SC245 none the less. This came up on Reverb and was within driving distance to pick up locally. Got a good price.

Feels and plays great. Loving it. This pic is from the seller, but about as good as I could take anyway.

That's sweet man. Love my PRS Tremonti II. Getting another as soon as I can. I loved the 245's when they came and that one is a stunner. If you don't like those pups just replace them but hang onto that guitar. I love PRS. I float between my PRS's and my Gibson's.
