Cameron stuff was hard to come by, and very hyped; some people are bound to be dissapointed once they finally try one, so they change hands.

There is no magic gear, and that's tough for some people to grasp, so they keep chasing.

THIS.
^^^

I still think my CCV is easily the best amp I've ever played (soundwise). I've played damn near all of em.
That's been my experience with the 3 Camerons I have. They're just tools. Good ones, though. Now if a guy who can barely croak out a RATT tune buys one thinking it's gonna turn him into Paul Gilbert, it wouldn't surprise me one bit when it shows back up on the block. There is no magic other than sitting down and busting your ass practicing.

That Aldrich mod is
Sounds like an Aldrich to me as well. Doesn't really matter as it sounds killer. I dig mine for sure.

I had not been on rig talk for a while until recently. I had no money and no gear and it was too painful to see all the great gear on here. Anyhow, I was really amazed at how many Camerons for sale and how much less they were selling for! I thought I had entered the rig talk twilight zone, or a time space continuum. The Camerons that I owned cost me quite a bit more than what they are selling for now. They are killer amps, its cool if guys who could not afford them in the past finally get to have a go at them and own one finally!!!

Not true.

A Unicorn lept from my SLO with a purple leprechaun holding a pot of tone on back. :D

That's not a leprechaun, that's the spirit of Dio. :D
