You guys are ballin' out the frame, so-to-speak.

I just got antique plates for my '95 Civic. Lol. I'd better put out some music since my car status is low. :p

@Monkey Man I did a wash/wax/detail today, and it's astonishing how nice the thing looks with some tire wet and elbow grease for a 27 year old car with over 400,000 miles on it.

Been blasting Megadeth's "Countdown to Extinction" with my PPI Powerclass three way components (have air motion transformer tweeters like Adam/Hedd monitors), JL 10" subs and PPI PC4800 2x100 watt 1x400 watt fan-cooled amp. It was like 1993! hehe

Edit: That Megadeth source is the OG CD I bought back in the day, too. :)

I have that OG CD and Countdown is one of my favorite Megadeth albums

New pics after a detail and PPF. Looks better than factory fresh now. And got some heat in my new titanium exhaust after a track day. Love how it's changing color.

Where I started vs where I am:

First car ever: black 1984 Z28 I bought my senior year of HS about a month before graduation in '99. Owned for 3 years and cost me about $12k altogether after 1 blown engine (spun a bearing a month after I bought it) and 2 blown transmissions (trans shop boned us after it blew up again ONE WEEK out of warranty, but still 2k miles under.) After the 2nd transmission repair I gave up on liking the car, so I thrashed it and later sold it for $300. Next owner was in the process of restoring it until he broke the cam and junked it.

Current weekend toy: red 1992 Z28. Bought in 2014 with 92k miles. I have an odd fascination of making this into a 3rd/4th gen 'hybrid'. Interior has been partially swapped out for 4th gen steering wheel and seats, 4th gen SS wheels, and 4th gen '2OTL' SLP exhaust. Still have a lot of work I want to do to it, but haven't driven it in 2 years now.

Got to drive it on Kansas Speedway a few years ago, courtesy of family friends who are season ticket holders. This was an absolute blast!

As it currently sits:

A few years ago at Christmas when my folks bought a Power Wheels for the little ones. Only time I've ever beat a Mustang!

A little double exposure magic:

Tons of suspension mods. Short throw shifter, solid trans bushings, billet rear motor mount, camber arms, rear sway bar, poly bushings, dropped 1”, rv6 toe arms, CAI. Euro side markers and LED converted. It’s so much fun to drive.

Sold my Trackhawk back in late Nov. and got 10K more than I paid for it! Unbelievable! Normally I hang on to vehicles for a longer time but I started noticing some things happening on mine and said, now is the time!

I picked up a brand new 2022 Jag SVR. I absolutely love this thing! Handles like a beast and more than enough go!
So comfortable to drive!
