Kage I would rock them all but I like the looks of the one on the right best.

Looks great, Kage! That black one is tits. Love the look of that one.

Looks great Kage. I've been thinking of getting a cheap strat and beat it up and tweak it. I'll probably sound the same on a cheapy strat as I would on a 3k Suhr.

Aside from singles and humbuckers, thats the truth Danny. I sound the same on everything that I play..

Kage, the newest one is KILLER. I'm digging all three but, if it were me?...those scalloped boards would be in the Classifieds!

I now have one of my Strats in with my tech doing a complete set-up, new plastic and installing the DiMarzios. I'm pumped to get it back and see for myself what all your glowing reviews are about.

Awesome axes, dude! :rawk:

looks cool! and the "Whiskey method", that's hilarious

beats the pot method: kept misplacing it

and the coke method: kept pawning it

No extras but I may be willing to part with one of the necks on the guitars pictured( thinking about the relicd black one as wel as the non reliced black one)

DIBS!!! :D

Bro, the triplet looks AWESOME! Congrats.

Reverse headstocks and maple boards is where it's at
I'm a fan of the standard sized fender headstock though, but always see the CBS on reverse ones, wonder why...

LOL just be careful!!! I was cracking up because Ive recieved so many compliments on the reliced guitars. The black one was my son and I kicking it around the street for awhile and the sunburst was done after a nice buzz off of some fine Texas Blue Corn Whiskey. I didnt do it all at once though, I did it over the 3 seperate sessions just to to see what I might add after seeing what I did when I was sober LOL!!!

I see people get all worked up over "accurate" relicing and thats just not my thing. The only relic job that I like is something that looks like it was seriously abused and that really isnt a hard thing to do...

You're killin me dude....cracks me up to think you did the black one kicking it around the street....I have a Peavey Predator strat copy coming in to try and appease strat GAS without any cash outlay, and I was wondering how in the hell I was gonna get the poly off of it. I'm gonna take it apart and tell my daughter to kick the shit out of it in the parking lot.

See what happens....relicing a GT 'Les Paul' copy atm.....razoring sucks, I think I'd rather get buzzed up and hit it with some freon spray....I too could care less about 'accurate' relicing....I just want it to look beat.

Bro, poly is a bitch, its friggin bulletproof. Your daughter could be an 800lb gorilla on a steady diet of steroids and she'll barely make a dent. You need a heatgun for that stuff or HOURS of brutal sanding with 36 grit. Ive seen poly laugh at the harshest chemical strippers as well, they dont do a thing...

That LP looks great!! I say go with freon and F it up good!!!

I had a Jackson body I tried stripping a few years ago. Nothing from Home Depot made a dent in the poly. I doubt that the acid blood from alien would even get through poly.

Great.....I can see I'm going to have to get creative here.....least it's already black.

Thanks Rob, The scallops are definitely an acquired taste. Theyre not for everyone and theres a bit of a learning curve for sure. Ive been digging them alot but I also find myself thinking that I may be better of with regular necks.... I keep going back and forth on it..

I cant wait to hear what you think about the DiMarzio's , Im absolutely in love with them..
