This thread seems to go "Round and Round" ...

If you hunt snakes for their fur you will be a "Wanted Man".

If Bernie Sanders supporters catch you with a Python covered guitar "You're in Trouble".

Snakeskin boots & condoms make you "Way Cool Jr."

PITA wants you to take ur Snake skin guitar & "Lat it Down"

"Nobody rides for Free" thats why snake skin costs money.

Once you buy one snake guitar strap you'll be "Back for More".

Libs / progressives whine & cry "You Think You're Tough" and "Shame Shame Shame" when you step onstage with a snakeskin guitar.

Richlite fretboard brought to you by the liberals and Hildabeast.

The python used on Warren's guitar was from a young snake that Warren saw on a camping trip when he was 13 years old. Every year his family went back to that camping spot and Warren and his brother would scout around to find that snake. Once Ratt hit it big, when they would tour in that area, the bus driver would pull over and Warren and the rest of the band would go out and look for the snake, stage clothes, hair spray, make up and all. Thirteen years after Warren saw the snake for the first time, he was scouting the campground with Stephen Pearcy. They found the snake and it wasn't doing well. Warren sat for days with the ailing snake, feeding it water with an eye dropper and chewing up small rodents and spitting them into the snakes mouth because it was too weak to feed itself.

Finally, the great python breathed it's last breath. In a fitting tribute to the majestic beast, Warren immortalized it by having it glued to the body of his guitar. Each time Warren plays or writes music with this guitar, all proceeds are donated to the Python Protection Society. Through the peaceful, serene and natural death by old age of this great creature, over 70,000 young pythons have benefited.

Nice story... seems like a load of crap if you ask me :dunno:
How can you say that? I can't believe you don't know this story. Warren talks about it all the time...

Performance is top notch stuff!

as far as the reptiles go:

I live in a rural farm area. Many of you would never survive here with the mentality you have. I have been around animals my whole life and have a huge love and respect for them. That being said, I understand that the cattle I see when I look out my window will someday become meals for many families and help bring income to my family. Always remember animals are living creatures, but they aren't people. Many would eat you as well if given the opportunity.

I highly doubt any pythons have been specifically killed for guitars. If you'd like, next time I kill a copperhead in my backyard, I'll send them on to be used on guitars so we can save the pythons.

This!

I'm an animal lover. I love snakes too, and don't kill them when I'm riding my mountain bike and run across them in snake country. But the FACT is that pythons are taking over the Florida Everglades. So killing some of them for skin is just a drop in the bucket. We have to manage wildlife or it will manage US. That's just the nature of the beast. It doesn't bring me great joy to kill things or consume animals that have been killed. But it's reality.
