Haha, I can't remember that at all . I'm guessing it did help since they work. I'm actuallying taking them out and going passive. That's if I pick the guitar back up. I havne't played since I started the board back in June .

thanks man, i appreciate it. those songs are from a demo we did a year ago, when we first started writing. we're going in after the first of the month to record our 6-song ep, and i'm so stoked. i didn't even use my own amp on that demo, and was dissapointed, so i'm hoping the new one will be better.
we don't even play the trails of blood song anymore....

How does the custom compare to any other Gibby's you've played or owned ?

here's my modest collection (i'll have to try and retake these ... they're kind of dark and 'uncrisp' )

Wow dude, I have the rosewood neck of that exact 74 strat. How does yours play/sound ? Mine is like butter, the pu's sound much like the custom shop 69's that Fender sells now.

I need to have the frets leveled,crowned and polished and the bridge is really rusted. The tuners suck balls, although the F tuner repro's should be a direct replacement and a marked improvement (since there schallers).

Thanks man It took me a while to decide between the alpine and ebony but the alpine came out on top. Compared to others I've played, a few standards, studios, and the Supreme Figured, I find the custom too be much much more full sounding and warmer/smoother, it's just a beauty to play. You can't go wrong really with any LP...cept maybe the Billie Joe haha, but I'm so happy I bought this.
